of course i would, the cover is very important to grab new listners, if you get people like me who judge things by their cover (i know i really shouldnt) but yes its very important, almost at important as the content i reckon

Honestly, I don't think I'd be likely to buy music based on the cover. Cover art is not necessarily indicative of the musician's style or message, nor does it provide any indication of the quality of the music. I don't think it makes any sense to buy music if you don't have some idea of what it sounds like.

I agree with I've frequently bought DVDs with poor cover art because I know the content is something I enjoy - but the art on your cover is as awesome as ever.

The cover means next to nothing to me. I very rarely buy music without having heard the band first, unless of course it's world music. I don't even put the covers on my iTunes, I'm not really that interested in them. Of course, if a record has a particularly interesting cover, it does catch my attention.

nothing would help me buy that album...

but your artwork, as always, is awesome

I do not buy music without listening to it first. ever. Album covers and other associated images however, along with titles/names, are what grab my attention and get me to give the trial listen in the first place.
